Way to go, Team MVM!
The second set of results is from the 20th Annual USF Masters Valentine’s Affair, held on Saturday, February 12, up at Koret Center at the University of San Francisco. Congratulations to Coach Jody, who won all 5 of her events, setting new Team Records in her 50 Fly and 200 IM, and to Mike Kadi, who also set new Team Records in the 200 Breast and 200 IM. Karla Rees pulled an “Alan” by swimming all five 200 yard races—200 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 200 Back and 200 IM. Pam Garfield swam in the meet less than a week after running a half marathon and joined Karla, Mike and Coach Chris on a Mixed 200 Medley Relay that was lots of fun.
