2009 Swim for Cancer Research and Awareness December 19, 2009 9am-12

This is a SPAS-hosted swim-a-thon to raise money in memory of former Stanford (and lots of other places) and Olympic Coach Richard Quick, and to show support for South Palo Alto Masters Swimmer Steve Glassman. Some of you who swam over at Covington may remember Steve and Lucille. Lucille was one of the officials at our meet this past October. Dana Kirk, the SPAS Head Coach, is a 2004 Olympian and Stanford All-American who swam for Richard. She and SPAS were the second largest Team at our meet this year. See the flyer for more information.
